    What Is Your Favorite Demonstrator?

Mine is my TWSBI Diamond Mini with 1.1 Stub Nib. I absolutely love this pen!

I also like my TWSBI Diamond 580 with a Fine nib. I have Noodler's Habanero in it right now. Looks really cool!

    What is your favorite?

Ha! I was going to say TWSBI Mini Classic, but I don't know if it's a demonstrator or merely a transparent pen.

I like the opaque cap so I won't see the inky condensation in it. (Don't know why it bothers me. I know it's there. I know it's there in all of my pens. Just prefer not to see it.)

I have a few old Sheaffer School Pens that are clear/transparent. I like them because they're old Sheaffer School pens not because they're demonstrators though.

I only have about 6 that are either demos or transparent. So from those few, I'd say my Pelikan M205 clear demo.

I really like Demo Pens- it would be a tough call!
    I currently have:

    -Twsbi 530 Clear
    -Pel M200 Anthracite
    -Pel M205 Clear
    -Pilot 74 Smoke
    -Sailor 1911 Clear
    -Reform Skywalker Clear
    -Sheaffer Cart Pens (3-Clear/Blue/Red)

Of these, I would lean towards the Pilot74!
The Sailor would be a close second!

I like my Pilot Custom 823, but as for totally transparent demonstrators, I would have to say the Noodler's Konrad.

I don't have many demonstrators, but of them, I'd pick my Pelikan M1005 and TWSBI 540/580 clear demos. They look especially pretty when inked!

Pelikan m200, Twsbi 580, and probably the most unusual, a clear Lamy Safari.

I think my favorite demonstrator is a Parker 51 demonstrator. I don't have one, but they are pretty neat looking.

I am very glad to see many have voted for Pelikan demos. They are gorgeous.

    Demo pens I have:

Pelikan 200 dark green, blue and the new clear demo
Pelikan 250 light green and amber
    Pelikan 1005 clear demo
    Platinum 3776 in red
    Twsbi mini in F

My favorite: pelikan 1005, followed by 200 dark green and 250 amber.

I'm no Lamy expert, just a fan, but I believe that the original demonstrator was called a Safari and looks just a little different. It's hard to find and thus worth a lot to collectors. So writingrav could have a clear Safari, and if so, should put it up on eBay and use the proceeds to buy a Vista and something really nice.

Thanks for the advice. It is a Safari and I think it is pretty scarce. Trouble is I like it

I could almost swear I saw the Safari demonstrator next to a Vista somewhere in the Lamy Collection thread:

    http://fpgeeks.com/forum/showthread....amy-Collection

But you may have to wade through several pages to find it.

I really like the Vista with the Z26 converter (no red knob) and filled with something turquoise. It looks wonderful.

Or the Pelikan M200 filled with Edelstein Jade. Shiny.
