Nice looking set Allan. You photographed them well.

I just picked up one of these today for $7 in Vermont - a lovely pen, can't wait to get home and ink it! In great shape and the color is fantastic!

There's my root beer SJ (thanks Brian, for fixing up the innards!) .... with my Levenger True Writer! I think they look cute together.

[QUOTE=inky;28596]Here's a shot of my Estie Desk set at work. Not very actiony since it is in it's holder but still...
The desk set with the computers is awesome.
Brian - those two Esties are really outstanding.
Thanks very much for the photo!

fountainpenkid - that certainly is a pen to treasure - a family heirloom.
Thanks very much for the pictures.
That demonstrator is my holy grail. I doubt very seriously that I'll ever own one (never seen another one besides this one) but I've lusted after it ever since I first saw it on your site. I love demonstrators of all kinds, and I've been bitten hard by the Esterbrook bug.
Second in line is a Visumaster. More attainable probably (and no doubt more affordable), but still haven't had luck finding one. Missed one on Ebay just last week.
chad.trent:
Brian's pens can suck the air out of the room, but here's some Visumasters you might enjoy.
A black one with a #4556 nib,
and a green one with a #8440 Sunburst.

Hey GardenWeasel- Are any of those purse pens the clipless models?
Best, greg
No.... All have clips.
I've found that the clip-less purse pens (model H, versus the clipped CH) are dramatically less common. I've been watching for them for about 10 years, and have found four.
I sold the one that was a duplicate (color) of one I already had. I've seen hundreds of clipped models in that time.
Also in this pic: a fairly scarce Relief 22L with a ring top instead of a clip:
Best Regards, greg

Estie?
The body is a 1947 pre-production SJ. These are recognized by the lack of the (R) symbol after Esterbrook in the imprint, and screw in jewels.

Come on now... you can't post that pic and not tell us about that nib. And is that a white jewel?
