Hello!
I found Parker Sonnet France P.III and don't understand is it fake or not? There is no any signs on ink container.
Could you please help me?

Re: Fake Parker Sonnet or not?
Looks genuine to me. I have a couple of dozen Sonnets of various vintages. Looks like a later Sonnet.

Re: Fake Parker Sonnet or not?
Thanx! And that is about this Parker instruction? It hasn't any stamps and dealer signatures. is that OK for original Parker pens?

Re: Fake Parker Sonnet or not?
Pretty sure the sonnet I bought online for my dad didn't have any stamps in it. I would have to check though. I think it is something that gets neglected when buying on line from the likes of Amazon et al

Your Parker Sonnet is one of the last Mark III’s
The pattern is Matt Black CT ( Chrome trim )
2003 -2007 Parker / Waterman factory at Saint Herbain, Nantes, France
Your pen cap has a date of February 2007
I have spent a lot of time at this since the early 1990’s Mk I fakes ( I have a small collection of them )
The article ‘ Attack of the Clones ‘ is now vastly outdated
Currently there are 4 UK ebay sellers selling fake Chinese Sonnets , nib and lower shells.
A complete chinese fake Sonnet pen can be bought for £2.29 ( approx $3 ) if you know where to look.
Can you tell me what you paid for this pen please ?
Next to no pen dealers actually stamp pen documentation these days unlike the old days.
I would not read anything into it.

Proteus
It was gift. I think that approximate price of it was 50$. There some Parker shops in Kazakhstan.
From your words it follows that this is the original pen?

Re: Fake Parker Sonnet or not?
The steel nibs generally seem pretty smooth, I prefer the 18k nibs which you can easily upgrade at a later date, they have a slight bounce/spring to them which I find very pleasant. Enjoy your new pen.

Your Sonnet pen is 100% genuine.
The Sonnet mark III nib shown has never been 'copied'
You have mentioned ' There some Parker shops in Kazakhstan. '
Can you tell me how you know that please.
