Default WTB: Pilot Prera Oeste Kingfisher (blue demonstrator)

Looking for the blue demonstrator version of the Pilot Prera (the full color Oeste "Kingfisher" version shown below, not the clear one with blue tips). Hoping to get one of these as a graduation gift for someone, so if anyone has one for sale or has any leads on where I could find one, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Thanks for the link, but it looks like they're sold out.

These are lovely pens & I enjoy all of my Oeste Preras. The blue is my favourite of the 5 colours.

The Kingfisher was very popular when it was released in 2016, so is hard to find now. I’m pretty sure Nagasawa have sold out of these. I think you’ll have to rely on scouring places like Yahoo Japan Auctions or private sales. You could maybe contact FPG member Sammyo. He lives in Japan & might have some ideas/leads.

I've had a look around and can't find anything yet... Sorry.

Just for an FYI if it helps to search, the official name is:
    Oeste Pilot Prera Kawasemi Blue
    オエステ パイロット プレラ カワセミブルー
    (Kawasemi = Kingfisher)

    I'll keep my eyes peeled.

Are you after this pen for "this pen"?
Or is it for the colour, if it's only the colour I could suggest some interesting alternatives.

Thanks for looking, and thanks also for the official name-- I wasn't aware of that, but it makes sense!

And I am looking for this particular pen, as the young woman I am gifting the pen to has smaller hands and I thought a Prera would be perfect. I would love to hear any suggestions you might have, though. Thanks!

So, here we go. I tried to keep to a similar colour; similar price range and similar build quality.

My #1 suggestion would be the Sailor Procolor 500... But you would need to move fast as these don't hang around for long!

Next would be the Platinum Cool / Platinum Balance Blue.
They don't feel quite as nice in the hand and the finish looks a little cheaper... but do have a nice nib.

The Nemosine Singularity are also a cheaper feeling pen, but again they have nice nibs.

Last, but not least, and a bit darker shade of blue is the Kaweco Ice Sport Blue... Everything you expect from a pen.

Good suggestions. But as the OP is looking for smaller pen, the Platinum Cool / Crystal Balance is a fair bit bigger than a
Prera, at least length-wise. The Prera might be a shorter pen, but the section is proportionately generous.

That's why I put in the Kaweco at the end

Migo is right though, both the Platinum and the Nemosine are longer pens.

The Sailor is a small pen in the hand and its by far the best of the bunch. I have one of the Fashina models, which is basically the same pen, and love it.

I prefer the Platinum Crystal - it’s such a great nib on a pen at this price point. But the Sailor uses better material I think.

Aren't the Balance, Cool and Crystal the same pen, just regional naming?

In effect, yes; I wasn’t meaning to suggest they were different pens. The plain Balance is generally the solid colour version, and Cool is the original name of the Balance demo, now renamed Crystal. But I’ve seen them used interchangeably by sellers.

    Yay I haven't gone mad
Thanks for clarifying, and I agree
