Complete Newb, sort of.

Hello, I’ve been into fountain pens for a longwhile in a look at from afar and wish kind of way, but have only recently started actually buying any. I’m on the forums in search of advice, actually. Like it says in the title, I’m a newbie to using fountain pens, though I have done calligraphy with dip pens for a couple of years, and want to know about flex nib fountain pens? I’ve stumbled across one accidentally, (in an antique shop in pretty good condition) and don’t know quite what to do with it. Could anyone point me to the right forum?

And I’m Ceri, by the way. Apart from the calligraphy I also love knitting, weaving, and bookbinding. I have far too many hobbies and far too little time. Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated.
