Sheaffer gold mechanical pencil 0.9mm

Just picked this up at a local antique shop, and it is pretty much pristine condition, was most likely part of a set.
Uses 0.9mm leads, which are far easier to obtain than the older 1.1mm, mechanism functions perfectly.

Beautiful pencil, but I don’t care for the gold electroplated finish, so I’m letting it go, I much prefer silver pens and pencils.
Thought it might even match a vintage pen someone here owns.

I’m not quite sure what you mean, it’s gold tone, obviously not actually made of gold though....
