I'm impressed. I would be interested to see what your handwriting looked like after you had written your reply.
They put quite good nibs in those MOP holders. I have a No.2 with an E.S. Johnson & Co. nib. Mine is flexible, but doesn't have the round breather hole and so a crack is developing from the top end of the slit.

ESSRI is a perfect match here, I like it with wet vintage nibs.
A noble ink, fine we still can buy it.
