    Default Something completely different

I'm catching up with correspondence, and motivated by one pen friend's handwriting (that letter), I plucked one of my dip pens from my pen chest to scribe my reply. It's a "LeRoy W. Churchill" No. 5 pen in a MOP holder, wet with ESSRI ink.

I'm impressed. I would be interested to see what your handwriting looked like after you had written your reply.

They put quite good nibs in those MOP holders. I have a No.2 with an E.S. Johnson & Co. nib. Mine is flexible, but doesn't have the round breather hole and so a crack is developing from the top end of the slit.

    Wow, what a pen!
And a wonderful writing by your friend. :-)
ESSRI is a perfect match here, I like it with wet vintage nibs.
A noble ink, fine we still can buy it.

    Best wishes
    Jens
