A kind hello to You fp-geeks all from Germany!
My name is Thomas, 56yrs. and I did register here some minutes ago.
I found this thread "Drop dead gorgeous pens that you will never own" and knew, here's the right place to be...
My most favourite pens are (how could this be different for a German, haha) of course Pelikans from the 50-80ies, preferred the 140 type with it's wide bandwith of nibs.
Pelikan type 400 is my second most beloved one.
But also Kaweco, Parker, Lamy and several more are in my pencil case too.
History of fountain pens and lead pencil are quite interesting for me.
Please apologise if I'll read & learn more than posting threads, I'm a beginner geek still

We already have something in common, also some of my most favorite pens are German ones from the 50s (I own several Pelikan and Montblanc from that period)

Personally I consider the Pelikan 400 as one of the best pens ever made, lasting for several lifetimes.
