    Default Kinsoku Mitateai

Kinsoku Mitateai is the term used for urushi lacquer imitating metal surfaces and colors. Here two Ebonite pens with varieties of this lacquer, one with a lacquer imitating "Damascus Steel" and another one imitating "Mokumegane". Both techniques are achieved by using metal powders sprinkled into wet urushi lacquer. Both pens made by Manu Propria
