    Default Hello from California

    I have been using and collecting fountain pens since 2000. Normally frequent FPN (same username), but after a 10 year hiatus from collecting, I decided to expand my horizons when I restarted the hobby. Currently at 91 pens and counting... My favorite pen brands are Parker, Sheaffer, Sailor, Visconti, and Pelikan. Glad to be here.

    Located near San Francisco and you have club options and a pen show coming up in August to aid in your goal of expansion.

    0.5mm vs 0.7mm graphite sizes is much like 9mm vs 45acp...they both work if you know what you are doing. - me

    Looking for Caran d'Ache Type 55 2mm set and Rotation .7 pencils.
