Default MB 146, Pilot 912, Sailor, Pelikan, Vintage Waterman

Hi everybody hope everybody is enjoying the spring weather and having a great time at it.

I have some pens that I would like to sell. They all write great, most have been tuned by Mike Masuyama (I will provide receipt for your reference is you ask) earllier this year, in April as a matter of fact; and I use them on a regular basis but some things have come up and I need to raise some money to fund it. I will only be keeping 2 pens for my daily use. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. All prices include shipping to CONUS.

I included a photo and a list of the pens:

Pilot Custom 912 - SOLD - FA nib with a Spencerian grind by Mike Masuyama (receipt available upon request.)

Sailor 1911L - ($210) Reduced to $190- Naginata Togi nib; Black with silver trim; never skips and always starts up; I have the box.

Montblanc 146 - SOLD -Black with gold trim, medium 14k nib, piston is buttery smooth, 1980s vintage, W. Germany imprint on the clip band, brass piston thread. Tuned by Mike Masuyama (receipt available upon request.)

Pelikan M800 - SOLD - I have 2 nibs with this but it will only come with one: fine and a Round Cursive Italic grinded by Masuyama from a Broad. Has some minor scratches on it that you can see in the picture. (receipt available upon request.)

Waterman 52 - $175 , has a really nice flex nib, brought from Greg Minuskin.

Aurora Optima - $325 Reduced to $300 Black with gold trim; fine nib, writes very smoothly; very good condition.

I'm not sure. It's a 80s pen but I don't have enough experience to tell the difference. I'll upload a photo of the feed.

It is very (VERY) pretty in that pen. In fact, I find this whole thread to send me into a pen frenzy. Awesome pens tuned by my favorite nibmeister. Oh Snap.

I actually have a sample vial of that ink, but mine looks much lighter than this navy hue visible on this writing sample. Maybe a difference due my computer screen ...

The Namiki Blue is one of my all-time favorites! In contrast to dfo's experience, I find it's about the same in any pen I use it in, very much like the sample here... it starts out dark and dries to a beautiful medium blue. It ends up in my MB 146 (M) frequently, but I never ink my LAMY 2000 (M) with anything else any more -- it's the perfect ink for that pen!

Hello! Would you be willing to part with any of the M800 nibs individually?

Would you happen to know what's the width of that round cursive italic and if you could provide a sample for both fine & the round cursive italic nib? thanks!

    Hi!
Can I ask about ink which you use in Waterman? Really interesting grey ink (I just discover that I start to like grey inks, but not know many)
    Thank you!

I would have to agree. I go back to this ink everytime but not for the color because I only started with fountain pens last September so I only have the Namiki blue and Baystate blue but I haven’t touched Baystate much at all. I usually go back to the Namiki more for the writing feel. It isn’t too dry or wet, goes on the paper just right.

Sure, I will sell the italic nib separately. I’ll do a writing sample later and post it.

Do you still have the Sailor? Photos? Thanks
0.5mm vs 0.7mm graphite sizes is much like 9mm vs 45acp...they both work if you know what you are doing. - me
