Found this on the internet. It's not a photo that I took, and it's the wrong kind of pen (I can't bring myself to say or even type the b*llpoint p*n word), but I though y'all might enjoy seeing it anyway.

This might be more along the lines of what I'm supposed to be posting:

Skyline nib (from my archives, such as they are). The beads are Yak bone! Not something you see everyday.

This was the only prototype that made it out of the Esterbrook corporate office without a violent end. The drawings and remainder of the prototypes were snatched curbside by one Esther Brook diverting them from the back seat of the company patent lawyer's Cadillac on the streets of Cherry Hill. Esther's Kaiser-Fraiser raced to the old factory in Camden, and she burned all the prototypes on the roof, thereby preventing the filing of a design patent for the new Meisterbrook range.

Esther later turned up in Hamburg with the drawings, but the German authorities in Hamburg refused to cooperate in an extradition of Esther, so the entire project collapsed. This is the only artifact that remains from this important event in fountain pen history. It writes beautifully. I never post it.
Beautiful pen and a wonderful story... you have a lovely piece of history. Thanks for sharing.

Recently we got a pack of mini Pepsi cans, whose design *immediately* caught my attention.

The modern "Pepsi" logo is replaced with the "Pepsi-Cola" logo from the 1940s.

Now you may wonder how did I know about this? Well because I happen to have a fountain pen from the same era, with the same logo style.

Now, some of you may astutely noticed, that the pen's pocket clip is not the original one.

It came from a removable clip for a pencil, but I modified it and made it a permanent clip because I thought it looks very much "at-home".

What happened to the original clip? Unfortunately it was rusted to oblivion. But because of that, now Redeem Pens has the only Pepsi-Cola pen that looks like this.

    It sounds particularly intriguing.

Alas, a previous collapse of FPN had washed the URL away.

Somehow your username (if it is the same as on FPN) jogged my memory that you have at one point posted photos of some rare vintage Kaweco's, is that remotely right?

    Gorgeous photos, btw.
