Parker Duofolds
I have 2 old Duofolds a Orange one with a single band cap and an a similar aged Lapiz one. The orange writes beautifully however the lapiz is extremely wet causing bleed through. Can anything be done to reduce the flow, I believe it has a christmastree feed.
regards
Amos

Re: Parker Duofolds
Have you confirmed there is no damage to the sac that may be causing an air leak?

Yes, the sac has been replace just this week, I thought that would sort it. It is not as bad as it was, but still very wet.

Re: Parker Duofolds
No, just asked the repair man, it is a standard button filler, he tells me that the nib should be seated higher, but then could not get it in the barrel. I might cheat and still a modern duofold nib unit in. I have a modern pinstripe that I must have been mad buying

Re: Parker Duofolds
A modern Duofold nib unit will not work in an original Duofold.
A picture would help. Sounds like the nib and feed are incorrectly installed.
