Wanted: well used Lamy 2000
I’m intrigued by the Lamy 2000 fountain pen, and would really like to try one, but am on a fairly tight budget.
Does anyone here have a well used one collecting dust that they would sell for a reasonably low price?
Scratches, wear, and other signs of use don’t bother me at all, so long as the pen still writes well and doesn’t leak.
I’d prefer a medium nib, but am not too picky if the price is right, just no EF nibs please.
I know this may be a long shot, especially since the 2000 is a very popular pen overall, but thought it worthwhile to check just in case.
Thanks.

Re: Wanted: well used Lamy 2000
Early this year, I finally fell in love with the Lamy 2000 after being able to try one, and I think you could buy one on either one of the FB pen sale groups or on Ebay (maybe reddit or Virtual Pen Show) for just under $100, maybe around $90? Is that do-able for you? It is absolutely worth it. I ended up getting one that had been tuned by Dan Smith, and paid about $115. It was in like new condition.
Good luck, and be patient. There are many for sale out there!

Yah, somewhere between $75 and $100 is the maximum range I can spend on it right now.
I’m sure I’ll find one eventually.
