    kulprit..............I have a few Noodler's Dixie Ebonites as well and the "quality control" on the nibs is kind of crazy" some are more fine, fine-medium or even medium? The Neponset music nibs are for the most part junk. I have had to work on every one one I got. I took a couple and put some real quality 14k nibs in as I love the size of the pen. I still have a couple with the Musics nibs left in though

    I use Noodler's Eel or Polar ink and the piston, etc. never freezes or gets stuck

    Mostly written with a Sailor Standard 1911 w/ NAGINATA TOGI MF, a Pelikan 800 w/John Mottishaw BBIC and a Parker 45 w/Broad italic (factory).
