MI 19 started to run dry in my Parker Reflex and needed dipping to start, BUT, I think this is a converter problem. After advancing the ink, it seems okay now.
My other pen is a Montblanc.

And my other blog is a tumblr!

And my latest ebook, for spooky wintery reading:

Didn't get a chance to fill a wider pen but did some more sketches, some with and some without water. Its quite a good life drawing ink.

Hmm, it seems the ink didn't arrive here. Granted I was away for a few days, but nothing in my mail pile.

Well, I was trying to leave Sammyo time to sneak in some thoughts prior to revealing as I'd spoken to him via Facebook chat. He was going to try to find time in between unpacking boxes. Then it's been a few comedies. Mid afternoon yesterday a power outage knocked out our internet service provider. Access wasn't restored until midnight, and by that time I'd already gone to bed. I woke early this morning to ride my mountain bike, and after crashing and injuring myself I've been lying on the couch all afternoon while things stop bleeding enough that I can wander around the house without leaving red marks everywhere .

So without wasting any more time, here we go. Mystery Ink #19 is non other than Lamy Pacific Blue

Thank you Scooby921 for providing this ink, and thank you everyone who participated for your amazing writing and artwork!

Do you think Lamy Pacific Blue is different from Lamy Turquoise? Many people say there is a difference and others say no. What is your opinion?

I don't know if there is a difference, but I'm going by the name provided by the vendor on the barcode and on their website (Vanness). At Goulet and Anderson they only list Lamy Turquoise as an available color / ink. Lighting certainly has an effect on photos, but it does appear the bottle cap on Lamy Turquoise is a darker color than what is on my "Pacific". Also, Vanness does list Lamy Pacific and Lamy Turquoise as two separate products. They do, however, use the same image for the writing / swab color sample. That image / sample says "Pacific" on it.

Omg, I'm so sorry, I hope you heal up soon! I didn't mean for you to get off your sick bed.

Thank you so much for the big reveal, and for allowing us all to try it I wondered if it would have turquoise in the name so this post reveal chat is most interesting

Lamy confirmed that Pacific Blue and Turquoise are exactly the same inks but that the outer packaging is different for Pacific Blue.

Hope you're healing well Scooby, and thanks again for this opportunity. This isn't an ink colour I'd thought too try until this - I'd settled on Robert Oster Torquay as my guess and will now go on to get a sample of this. Lovely colour - if I can find something similar which I can write with comfortably in an F nib I'll be a happy man!

Thank you all for your concern. I will heal, and being typical me I'll be back on the mountain bike long before it's all healed. Gauze, vetwrap, and ibuprofen are very good friends of mine.

Hmmm...I wonder how well gauze works as an ink blotter. Buying in bulk makes it pretty cheap. One could buy gauze rolls, roll it across the page to blot, and simply unroll and cut off the used portion to get a clean surface.

    Lol.
Here's my attempt at the bottle, couldn't get the deeper blues with my super fine nib though. Think if I'd not been in the train I might have taken a paintbrush to the bottle thanks again for the chance.

Hope you mend quickly and painlessly as possible, Scooby!

I didn't expect this to be a Lamy ink but am glad it is; I'm going to get cartridges for my Safaris. Cool!

I've looked in a few places for Lamy Pacific Blue, but haven't found it.

I suppose it would either have to be Turquoise or nothing.....
