Sheaffer Balance Wide Band Brown Striated Celluloid 14K nib Pencil/Pen Set
A beautiful Sheaffer Balance (I believe 350) Lever Filler in the brown striated celluloid body. The pen comes with a very rare wide band that I haven't ever seen on these before. The band is large enough for initials but there is nothing on it at the moment. The pen has just been restored and cleaned and is ready for use!
This pen dates back to the 1930s and is in excellent condition with little to no brassing on the metal and no deep scratches or gouges in the body. The nib is a 14K Smooth Feather Touch nib that is a STIFF Fine nib. The pen has just been restored and the sac is working and should work for a long bit.
The pen also comes with a matching pencil and while I don't know too much about pencils, it does work and lead can retract into and out of the section by twisting. The pen will also come with the box but I don't believe the box is the original to these pens as it looks like its from a later time period and the straps on the case are broken (in the pics).
