1941 Sheaffer Valiant Lifetime Green Military Clip VAC FILLER, slight upturned LIFETIME 14K F Nib Set
This is a beautiful Sheaffer Valiant Lifetime nib, the largest and full length standard-girl VAC FILLER fountain pen. This green is extremely beautiful and this pen has that really nice military clip that fits well into any pocket.
One of the best feature of this pen is the nib, which is a super smooth F upturned Sheaffer Lifetime nib.
The body is extremely beautiful, with that green celluloid line that is transparent so that you can see the ink levels in the pen. The transparency is sometimes not great on pens but this particular one is really clear.
The filler is another one of these great features, this pen has a vac filler system that most people here know from the Custom 823. This one has just been restored by GERRY BERG, one of the most well known name in Sheaffer repairs. The filler now has o-rings and is resistant to many inks and the barrel holds a ton of ink.
The bad parts of this set is that there is some brassing on the rings on the pen and pencil. The pencil also has a small gap between the top piece and the bottom, not sure if its supposed to be there or not but its there. The pencil lead does come out when twisted.
The pen and pencil will also come with the box.
