Hello from Kansas
Hello all.
My name is Aaron, I live in Kansas, U.S.A., and I’ve fallen down the fountain pen rabbit hole. My sister gave me a Metropolitan for Christmas in 2016, and that did it for me. Now I’ve got a mix of modern and vintage, and I’ve just passed the point (after the St. Louis pen show) that I can’t keep all my “good” pens inked at once any more. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

0.5mm vs 0.7mm graphite sizes is much like 9mm vs 45acp...they both work if you know what you are doing. - me

Ah, cool. I was surprised at how pleasant the Preppy is to write with. One of these days I should get myself a non-disposable Platinum.

I’m waiting on a 3776 which should be here tomorrow. The Preppy is really an amazing pen, especially for the price. Hoping my pricier purchase from Platinum will be as pleasing to write with (alliteration unintended, but it’s staying).Originally Posted by ahall
