Another hello from California

I fell in love with fountain pens in the 7th grade where my spelling, handwriting and English teacher (singular) required that we use them exclusively for work in her class. I have a Cross and a Waterman that I carry and use for general doodiing and what little writing is required these days (things like signing letters and addressing envelopes).

I recently aquired one of the Loiminchay "Door Gods" sets and have been trying to figure out how they work.

This looks like a good place to begin that investigation.
