I see a lot of people who love using colored pencils. How many are using the clutch holder with different colored leads. Any favorites on the lead. Any photos to share?

0.5mm vs 0.7mm graphite sizes is much like 9mm vs 45acp...they both work if you know what you are doing. - me
Looking for Caran d'Ache Type 55 2mm set and Rotation .7 pencils.
I used the leads that came with my Caran d'Ache Mario Botta and found them to be watercolor leads!

I use Staedtler (blue and red) and Koh-i-noor Hardtmuth (blue) ones.
Both have their strength.
I like especially the color and feel of the Koh-i-noor, but they are really brittle.
The Staedtler are also not bad, they are not brittle, a little bit harder and the color is less vibrant.
I published a good number of sketches using them in the Art Gallery thread (in case you are interested to see some results)
I have seen your work, yours and your sons! Excellent work. Thanks for information! Wrote them down and will check them out the next visit to SamFlex.

mh, the koh-i-noor leads are good working for aquarell. (sry for the bad paper)
