Is there a London meeting scheduled for late November/early December this year?

There should be one on the first Saturday of the month, unless it is cancelled in the next two meetings.

I am making plans to travel to UK and be in the London area between around 20 Nov - 10 Dec or thereabouts.

I'd like to come tomorrow if you'll have me back. Rumors of my demise were classified.
Tbh I haven't been to a meet for over two years possibly 3. Last time was the Coal Hole. So since then I've moved house, refurbished the house, had another baby son, now 18 months etc.
I only got my pens and my couple of inks out again today and I've had to flush out a few because I packed them away with ink in. Duh!
I've done absolutely nothing penile for about three years not even written a letter so it'd be nice to see some old and new faces. I'll bring some very old pens with me.

Some of you already know about the new ink from Diamine-Earl Grey. The initial idea was proposed by our very own Daniel and was chosen by popular vote by reddit r/fountainpens.

This month's meetup is special because it coincides with the London Pen Show.
What is it?

• The London Writing Equipment Show is the largest pen show in the UK. Vendors come from all over the country and some from abroad to sell pens, ink, and paper etc.

When is it?

• Sunday 1st October
• 9.30am - 4.30pm (Early bird entry) £15
• 10.30am - 4.30pm (Standard entry) £5
• Children under 13 enter free when accompanied with an adult.
• Note: last year the doors actually opened at 10am for Standard entry.

Where is it?

• Holiday Inn London Bloomsbury, Coram Street, London, WC1N 1HT. Map.
• Russell Square is the closest tube station.

How do I meet up with everyone?

• 9.45 - 10.30am: present yourself at the Junction Bar & Lounge inside the hotel. We will be here chatting until the doors open. Map. I hope this makes our meeting spot really really obvious.
• Lunch: last year we booked a table at The Marquis Cornwallis, 31 Marchmont Street, London, WC1N 1AP. There are too many of us now so most of us will make our own lunch plans.

What vendors will be attending?

• Unfortunately Bureau Direct and The Writing Desk will not be returning this year, but regulars such as Niche Pens, CONID, Hamilton Pens etc are attending.
• Resident nibsmith: Mr Sorowka (don't call him a nibmeister he hates the term and you must visit him early to avoid disappointment).
• It's worth contacting the vendors beforehand as they may offer you the show discount and you can pick up your purchase at the show.
• The show map is ready as of 6th September.

More accurately they will not have stalls/tables there. Writing Desk have said they're going to be ordinary punters on the day and we know Mishka will be meeting up with us (maybe with others from Bureau Direct ?).

We're sad not be going to the London Show this year. Melbourne to London is a bit too far to commute 😉

Yes, health wise we are fine but we have a visitor at the moment. An unfortunate double booking because left hand (me) forgot to remind right hand (Micky) about the Geeks meeting and the annual exhibition.

I should be there. I've got a conference over Holbourn way, which I'm hoping to duck out of ~11:30 till ~14:30, giving me a couple of hours at the pen club. Will be bringing much of my pen show spoils with me.
