Oi 9. I've just managed to clear Saturday the 1st. I might even have some restored pens to play with. And Schnitzels there must be Schnitzels. Plus perhaps a Stein or two of Paulainerbier.
I might take your lead on the beers as you know your National brew better than I although I am partial to Paulainer even if I do possibly spell it wrong. I will see what a Schweinhaxe is and thanks Rui.
When is the next meet?

I tried pricing up train ticket prices so that I could come, but on that day I can't seem to get a train from where I live. Every option I try comes up with a bus service.
Also I am starting to wonder if I should book a bigger table.
Please let me know urgently. Counting with Annie coming in as well it already makes 7 members and the table is only for 8 people.
Hi Rui,
Could you count me in too?
Emile
Some days, it's hardly worth chewing through the leather straps....
Please don't change the table based on me definitely coming as I haven't had a chance to work out my journey yet. I'm trying to find a good time to ask OH if he might drive me to Reading then come and pick me up. It's no easy task.....
No worries Chrissy. We are counting on you being there and looking forward to meet you. We know how difficult it is to get to central London over the weekend as most of us live outside London.
My wife has offered herself to sit at the head of the table since she has no pens to show(off like her husband) so unless someone else wants to join us I'll leave the booking as it is.
Sorry but I can't get a lift to Reading Station and a pick-up afterwards. As I don't want a bus-train-tube journey that takes over 2.5 hours in each direction, I'm regretfully going to give up on this one. Maybe next time it will be easier.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Please empty out your piggy banks and sell some body parts. I have NOS Pelikans to sell and will bring them along on Saturday.
