In the meantime, I am celebrating - I have secured another post with my current employer . My new boss was good enough to ring me yesterday because he didn't wan to leave me on tenterhooks over the weekend. I feel that I have landed on my feet - yay!

Absolutely agree with both about the Swan pens from Cob. I bought a couple from him myself. In my excitements of buying another of the beloved Swan's my English failed me.

Murfie, we should really organise a teleconference so that you and Migo could still attend the gatherings in London. Not sure how we could provide Paulaner Duenkel electronically though unless you also have it in Australia.

Great idea Rui, BUT one small problem. We are in a third world country where the Internet access can't support video conferencing. I live just 70kms as the crow flies from the second largest city (Melbourne) yet there is no landline Internet access available and I have to use a wireless connection through the 3G mobile telephone system, which just can't keep up (they don't feed the hamsters enough and the wheel spins slowly).

I think we are doomed to wait until we get back in September.
