What is the name of this Pub and what street is it on? I can't find Bierschenke in the area of the Show.
The pub is the Marquis Cornwallis

Dear all,
So sorry to have been an early leaver yesterday. I hope that you all enjoyed the meeting and of course it was delightful to see Murfie & Migo again.
Thanks View for organising the table at the Marquis Cornwallis; I shall definitelu attend the show - I have rashly reserved a rather pricey book (Onoto by Stephen Hull) and must collect it there.

Good to meet you, Cob, and to meet everyone else. It was great to learn so much so quickly and in such enjoyable company. That Waterman W3 was the most delightful nib I've ever tried and it has become a new benchmark for me. It's also rather put me off buying blind, as the other Waterman's, although very nice, didn't have the same magic. The other revelation was the Visconti Opera, which had the unfortunate result of me buying a Voyager from Oz (gold nib). (I bought blind - go figure.) Thanks especially to Murfie and Migo for the pen, ink samples and all the info.
Please count me in for the show lunch.
Best wishes,
L-P
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for being so welcoming on Saturday. I'm not sure I will be able to make it to the pen show, but I will be at the Pelikan hub and hope to be able to join you again in November.
More than welcome, both of you! Always good to have new faces there.

I completely underestimated the size and weight of Pelikan's parcels for the Hubs next week. Only managed to carry box one of two. Immediate ragret carrying a 20kg box home on an hour long commute.
Marisa, I remember that feeling of horror last year when it happened to me. At least I could enlist our eldest to act as a pack mule on the night ...

Quick update for those who have confirmed their attendance at the pen show on the 2nd October. We have a table booked for lunch in the Marquis Cornwallis at 12.45.
For those of you flocking to the Pelikan Hub this Friday, see you there.
Thanks View, for organising this.

I'd like to say a huge thankyou to Marisa for being our hubmaster this year!
The venue was excellent, it must have been hard to find somewhere on a Friday night. Not the sort of place you'd normally find me in but very nice all the same.
There was a healthy turn out and I noted Marisa being the gracious hostess and mingling with all.
New people, old friends and beautiful pens.
A really nice night. Thankyou again Marisa!

Hello everyone,
we've met Friday at the Pelikan hub and I can't wait to meet you again at the penshow.

Hi Kurus
Apologies I didn't get your name in real life - any pen we would know you by?

Hi Carl,
my actual name is Kuruš but to pronounce it you need to be good in ancient Persian so you can call me Ciro in the Italian way or Cyrus if it's easier for you.
You may remember me for my 149 with my signature engraved on it, or my Auroras (88, 88p, 98...) or my 1968 capless.
Greetings,
Kuruš
