    Default M1000 Broad nib

    Hi all,

I'm thinking of purchasing the M1000 in broad and get it reground to a stub or cursive italic. I'm curious what is the widest downstroke one may get on this nib when reground?

    Thanks!

I would add that the M1000 nib is a bit wider than similarly sized nibs in other pens. I have a M M1000 and its more like a B or BB.
