It would seem maybe so! I'll probably take some to DC this weekend, but I have as much trouble letting them go as I do passing them up when they become available!
Do I need an intervention? Can a good nibmeister provide one?

Creeping Nakayaitis. I am in the early stages, but my prognosis is grim - two perfectly beautiful pens, amazing writers, and yet I am planning/saving for a third. And so it goes.
Gorgeous symptoms!
I'll see your Nakaya and raise you an ST Dupont.
Those are gorgeous. I am particularly attracted to the baby blue one. I also like the clipless models.

I've got to be honest, I think you do have a problem. I own a Nakaya. It's a very nice pen. I really appreciate the handmade craftsmanship. I ordered it custom, so it has more meaning to me. Aside from being handmade and custom I find nothing about the pen justifies buying one over a Pelikan, Montblanc, Visconti, or Sailor. Of the lot I'd say the Nakaya has the worst nib. It's the lightest weight and feels the least comfortable in my hand. The cap threads are the finest of anything I own and it takes twice to three times as long to uncap. I know where I spent the money. I am content with the purchase. It's unique and personal. I'll never sell it. I will never buy another one.
