    Default Hello

    Hailing from the Sierra Foothills, I have been in the hobby for a couple of years now. I have a Pilot Custom 823, two Pilot Custom 74s, three Platinum Century 3776s, a Waterman Carene, a Lamy 2000 and a dozen or more other fountain pens. Looking forward to participating in the site!

    0.5mm vs 0.7mm graphite sizes is much like 9mm vs 45acp...they both work if you know what you are doing. - me

    Looking for Caran d'Ache Type 55 2mm set and Rotation .7 pencils.

    Bonjour! Buona sera! Howdy! I've only been around a couple of months myself, but I feel very comfortable here. Great place to hang out, and there are some very knowledgeable and helpful people in these parts to boot. Sounds like you've got some nice pens. Can't wait to see what you acquire once you get infected with the longing for vintage pens (there's an epidemic of it running wild on this forum — almost impossible not to catch the bug). You start off with a Carene, but pretty soon you're looking at Watermans with flex nibs from the 1920s, and then who knows what you'll end up with next. Anyway, welcome aboard!
