Mnu Propria Pens - Seidô-Nuri
This is a "Kiseru Type" pen with large cap with a so called "Seidô-Nuri". The urushi lacquer simulates old cast broze with greenish-blue patina. Seidô-Nuri is an experimental lacquer (Kawari-Nuri) from of the "Kinsoku Mitateai* Family that imitates metal surfaces.
Enjoy Weekend

Beautiful.
To me, that pen has the feel of an ancient artifact found at the tomb of Qin-Shi Huang-ti

Gorgeous. Will you be attending the Tokyo International Pen Show next month? If so will you be bringing any of your work with you. I'd love to see these up close.

What a great pen - it reminds me of some raku ware. I want to touch it!
