Vintage Sheaffer Skrip on ebay
I didn't now exactly where to post this but considering it's about "inky goodness" here it goes...
There is an eBay listing that offers vintage unopened bottles of Skrip in various colors for $8.00 shipped. I bought a bottle of permanent blue-black and was sufficiently impressed to buy 3 more bottles: blue, jet black and blue black. Unfortunately I came upon this listing very late, when most of the available colors are gone (such as peacock blue, emerald green, purple and others). The only colors available at this moment are washable blue, blue-black, red and jet black.
The listing is here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-SHE...item41e25d77d4

PS. This blue-black has really great water resistance.

Re: Vintage Sheaffer Skrip on ebay
I got a bottle of the same Permanent Blue-Black. A good color, just the right amount of blue peeking from the dark lines. Yes, it is a stubborn ink, of the sort that made our parents insist on Washable inks...since we were likely to spill a few drops whenever we filled.
Still some #22, Permanent Blue-Black left. Just checked. They have sold 110 bottles of all colors, and have 10 bottles left. At $8 each, these are a bargain of bargains. Often the Real stuff, the blue/yellow boxed Skrip, is offered at $15 or more.
