We held our regular monthly meeting this past Sunday when our theme was "How You Got Started in Pens". Each member shared their story of their first pen and how they got started in the hobby. My personal favorite was the member who said that she had exclusively used roller balls, and when her husband was buying her a new roller ball on-line he clicked the wrong button and she got a fountain pen instead, then had to ask for help on how to fill and use it.

Our next meeting will be held Sunday September 9 from 2 to 4 pm at:

We usually have an informal get-together in the bar one afternoon during the show when members (and visitors) just buy a drink and sit down and share experiences, purchase stories, and overall friendship. I think (but not sure) we talked about Saturday at around 5pm for this year.

I'll make sure someone clarifies and posts the plan before the show.
