Rwpairing sterling silver overlay

I just bought on ebay a Waterman 494 in which the overlay will need some repair....I have 2 questions: 1) Who could do the job, and 2) How does one take off and secure
the overlay to the pen?

A jewellery repairer or maybe an expert pen repairer who can repair metal. Don't try to remove it yourself.

I'm not sure either, but one thing I know is that an expert needs to do it.
