I picked up the blue one in 1.1mm stub. I really like it and might go back for a M in smoke for when I want to write finer then the stub.

I got one that doesn't work. No separation between nib tines and ink doesn't flow. It's a broad nib so it should be flowing something. I have a broad on the 580 AL-R and it's wet and smooth and overall great.

Now in a package to ship back tomorrow.

That sucks.... never had a TWSBI with that problem, but crap happens. Sorry it happened to you.

Not crazy about the aesthetics of the thing. The spring in the barrel looks ugly to me. Think I'll stick with my Eco's, Mini and Diamond.

This was my impression, too-- that it's a TWSBI Preppy. The plastic definitely feels cheap-- the body is like a disposable "crystal" plastic cup, and the section is like the softer plastic they make clear storage totes out of. I guess I got spoiled with the Eco, which is way nicer than its price indicates. If it weren't for the terrific nib, I'd say this should be a $10 pen.

I got mine back from TWSBI today. They blamed it on me and the paper. Here's what they said...

"You sent us your Go saying it does not work. We tested it for you and it writes just like how it should.

"Not sure what is going on your end, but besides writing on that paper you sent the note with, it works. It does however skip and cut flow a lot if you write on the note paper you sent along the package.

I would suggest avoid using the pen with that paper. Other than that, everything is ok after we checked it. We did open the flow slightly for you after testing it with the ink you had."

The ink in the pen was Diamine Autumn Oak. The paper I sent the note on (and written with a different pen) was standard Rhodia 80gsm blank white.

When I got the pen back it wrote, but not well enough to be satisfactory with the Autumn Oak still in the pen. I switched that out for something more saturated, a Mont Blanc Red Velvet. That hardly wrote at all. So, $20 down the drain, and it's headed for the trash.

And pretty shabby treatment from TWSBI as far as I'm concerned. We have "lemon laws" for cars. Maybe we need lemon laws for pens!

If you are just going to trash it maybe I can get it behaving better.

I picked one up because I needed to hit a number to get free shipping. It is an incredibly cheap-feeling pen. I enjoy the return spring on the plunger--since there's no mechanical advantage with a typical plunger system--but there's not a whole lot of pen to grip onto while filling it. My B nib is pretty smooth but is has a microscopically small sweet spot; get a hair outside of it and it skips like crazy.

For some reason I can't quite put my finger on, it's just not a satisfying pen to write with, despite the smooth nib and reasonably wet flow.

Once you've chosen your binoculars, the next step is to adjust the focus. Most binoculars have a central focusing wheel that you can turn to bring the image into focus. Start by looking at a distant object and turning the focusing wheel until the image is sharp and clear. go to this site
