FS: Parker Vacumatic Golden Web (Flex)

1937 Parker Vacumatic Junior in Golden Web. One of the most sought after patterns in Vacdom! Measuring 4 13/16" capped, this is the Junior sized, standard girth version with correct lockdown filler. Date code on the barrel indicates 3rd-quarter 1937 manufacture. 14k Vac Arrow nib is quite flexible, which is uncommon for a Vac. It lays down a buttery smooth and consistent EF/F line that widens to a BB+ under moderate pressure (see writing sample).

Condition is excellent. Cleaned and restored with a new diaphragm in the last couple weeks. Guaranteed to operate smoothly, fill to the hilt, and write as designed without leaks or other issues. No cracks, chips, personal engravings, missing parts, bent/misaligned tines, or threading issues. I see no brassing to the clip or cap tassie, but there's some high-point wear to the top cap band and a couple fine slivers to the blindcap tassie. Deep, sharp, fully legible imprint. Lockdown filler is clean, no wear or corrosion. Transparency is above average with breather tube fully visible but color ambered to orange. Smooth lustrous finish to the celluloid with only one noteworthy 1/2" scratch above a cap breather hole (zoom into 3rd photo) – could be polished out if you wish. On the whole, a well-preserved example of a scarce pen, and a delightfully expressive writer to boot!
