I am curious if anyone knows if Pelikan ever made the 800 size nib in 3B (triple broad). I have a BB, but have never seen the elusive 3B. Attachment 41788

They definitely did. Martini (from Martini auctions) pens was selling some on eBay a few months ago. The price was steep, but they went very quickly anyway.
Here's a blog post about a Pelikan O3B nib https://scribalishess.wordpress.com/...rtoise-review/
How do you like your BB ?

Yes, a long time ago (well, 5 years ago to be exact), Pelikan still made interesting nibs. I’m kind of collecting them, but they are very expensive.
I have had the O3B nib on a Pelikan M1000. It was spectacular to write with it. Sold it after a while. The nib cost me about $80 secondhand. You can still get BB steel nibs for the M2XX.
