    Default OMAS Paragon Too Wet

What do I do?...the pen is GUSHING ink...quite stylish for a quick signature or heading, but not for notes.

    Any help appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Will

I'd try switching to a drier ink, like an iron gall.

Though if it's gushing, that doesn't sound normal. What is the nib size and what ink are you using?

If it's really gushing, there may be a leak letting air in behind the piston. Not a repair a typical user can do. Mottishaw has done it for me on a pen I bought from him; not sure if he would do it freelance.

No...that's not what it is...it's just very wet.

The iron gall ink might be a good call. I got something similar an omas too and it's so wet there is always like small pools of ink on the nib. After I switched to iron call ink, this problem went away.

Hm. I did find that there is a crack in the nib collar.
