    Default Inktober 2018 Challenge participation?

    Hi All,

The prompt list for the upcoming Inktober 2018 challenge is out.

My son and I are planning to participate again (like last year: https://fpgeeks.com/forum/showthread...-Inktober-2017 ).

    Anybody else want to participate?

My Fazit from last years participation was that it was quite demanding to draw something every single day, but it was also a lot of fun (and Iˋm sure it helped to improve our drawing skills).

So I want to encourage you to participate no matter how advanced or not advanced your drawing skills are.
What matters is the fun doing it, using our pens and ink, master the challenge, and of course it is more fun when more people participate.

I will again create a new thread in the Art and Calligraphy subforum where we can post our drawings.

I'll be doing it again so exciting!! Not sure I'll remember to post every day on here as well as my blog and Instagram though. @suzywalkertoye on instagram or https://sketchingonthetrain.wordpress.com if I forgot.

    STOKED:

    1. Poisonous: Waterman Florida Blue
    2. Tranquil: Waterman Florida Blue
    3. Roasted: Waterman Florida Blue

HOW AM I DOING SO FAR?

    Heh.

Sorry. Though this says alot about my ink journey.

I haven't lost any interest at all in vintage pens, but more and more I want to just write and am indeed tired, really tired, of the ink game.

I love colors. But it turns out there aren't a lot I want coming out of my pen. Royal Blue, a Dark Blue, a standard
Blue-black, Black, Sepia, one green, one good red. Yes I like to have some variation for wet and dry pens and some inks
    that have water resistance.

But I am tired of inks that eat sacs, inks that crud up, inks that are hard to clean out, carbon inks and inks with sparkly shit in them.

& the endless number of teals.

If I could I would give away more than half my inks tomorrow.

I want off this crazy ride.

I can't be the only one who thinks this?

Yep. I started drawing again this time last year. I found out about inktober too late to participate last year. I'm excited to do it this year.

Nor can I, but I’m not letting that stop me.

Yep, I’m down to 10 and that is about twice what I need.
