I only asked for two fingers because I plan to have another when I'm done.
Jack Daniels is very smooth and flavorful. Similar to bourbon, but its own experience.

I'd agree with you, if not for the fact that thread is f'ing hilarious and sums up FPN so well...
pretentious, prissy, and pathetic prudes, with misplaced aspirations and delusions of grandeur, never mind the total lack of perspective or sense of proportion (and humour).

I loved the pontificating on giving and taking offense. I kept thinking about this video as I read it.

I think that the moderator is in what Wim has previously referred to as "Little-Hitler" mode and is behaving like they have an "all-encompassing power over their subjects." I've never before seen any FPN moderator, write on any thread that they closed: "several members will receive messages from the Moderators." In psychoanalysis that suggests "I'm giving it to all of them, regardless." Then they didn't even suspend the OP - which is frankly bizarre.

On a side note, a quick bit of googling and cross-referencing suggests that the so-called moderator who closed the thread, alc3261, is actually a working psychiatrist - would be interesting to read her professional opinion on the incident ;P.

Anyway, the Wisdom thread: I can't find it even in the cache (not that I'm a computer geek or anything). Looks like the mode-ragers went to some lengths to hide it. It feels unsavoury to me to present a forum as all unicorns and rainbows by hiding the truth. Kind of like a Dutch Trump.

There was nothing in that thread that would warrant a ban on our ink maven, imho. Feeling sorry for someone is not an attack on character or a violation of TOU, especially in the Chatter Forum. Calling someone an asshat or SOB is.
