8 New Diamine Shimmer Inks for 2018

Recently, I've been writing with 8 brand new Diamine Shimmer inks for 2018 and today I can reveal them. They are:

Dragon Blood - a brownish red with gold shimmer

Mystique - a purplish "blurple" with gold shimmer

Neon Lime - a light yellowish-green with silver shimmer

Peacock Flare - a dark turquoise blue with silver shimmer

Pink Champagne - a salmon pink with gold shimmer

Razzmatazz - a yellowish olive-green with gold shimmer

I will be posting reviews of all of these separately, but for now you can see them altogether.

For me, personally, the standout ink in this set is Razzmatazz. It looks great on the page with it's gold shimmer.

Out of all of those it's Mystique that really does it for me. A really good dark ink with brooding highlights. It's going on my list!

Mystique is an unusual shade. Not just "another blurple" but, as you say, a really good, dark and brooding "purple blurple" if there is such a thing.

I think "Razzmatazz" will sell out within a very short time. It's my stand out tip of these 8, but I also like the unusual shade of "Dragon Blood".
I believe there are many ink users who like the idea of a really good, gold, fountain pen ink, that's easy to use. Razzmatazz fits that requirement.

As I suggested in my reply on my blog, Shimmer inks have evolved since they were first introduced. I suggest you might try a sample, because you may be pleasantly surprised. (I might know someone who might be able to send you a sample....)
