Default First look at new Cult Pens (Diamine) “Iridescinks”

Cultpens has hopped on the high sheen bandwagon with two new inks - “Maureen”, a fairly bog-standard red-sheening blue, and “Robert”, a much more interesting green-sheening dark plum red. Both made by Diamine.

Here is Maureen, side-by-side with the other two recent Diamine inks - Skull and Roses, and Jalur Gemilang. And a swab of Robert.
All on cream Tomoe; quick iPad photos.

Looking forward to pen condition after use reports i.e. ease of cleaning...

From the swabbing process I’d say the blue (Maureen) is a touch “stainy”, like a few other Diamine blues & their other blue ‘exclusives’. ‘Robert’, the plum/burgundy ink, didn’t stain my fingers as badly and washed out quickly from my Finnis Serendipity dip pen.

I’ve not inked up any fountain pens with either yet. I’m enjoying my other Diamine shop exclusive (‘A Leap of Faith’) too much :-)

OK... so, I found the Phidon website - and the Yenderings Chicago Pen Roll, but they don't take orders online?!

No, I don’t think they generally sell online. They are a specialist B & M store.
