Created to honour Montegrappa's 88th anniversary this Italian made pen is a limited edition of 888 pens world wide. Made from sterling silver and blue and orange enamel decoration on the cap and barrel and the clip is set with two sapphire stones. Medium 18K two-tone rhodium plated gold nib engraved with a Deco-style floral pattern. The piston filling system provides a regular ink flow controlled by the hand turned ebonite feed. The resin used for the section and the piston knob are enhanced by tiny particles of silver. The cap and barrel are stamped 925 with Italian control marks and the nib is stamped 750 for 18k gold. Lacquer wood display box, booklet, metal content card, polishing cloth and plastic baggie are included. Pen has been inked but was flushed and cleaned. Limited Edition number 860/888.

Oh my goodness. Along with the "game of Chess" this is my all time favorite pen. Saw it in person and it was stunning. Wish I had enough to buy it

For some reason I've been asked if I would sell the pen without the box. I don't know why anyone wouldn't want the box, but I would be willing to leave the box out of the sale.
