Hello folks, I’m new here and new to Fountain pens, I’ve been interested in vintage watches for years and a recent change of lifestyle, one which resulted in me loosing 4 stone, has led me to re-imagine my style and the Edwardian style is where I’ve come to rest, as a result of this I’ve been perusing many antiques emporiums and came across a nice Parker which I duly purchased, this led me to find another one with its corresponding mechanical pencil.

The first one was this Duofold

The second it this Parker 17 set

The Duofold I washed out with water and it’s worked faultlessly ever since but the 17 pen set needed more work than I was comfortable doing so I sent them away for service and they’ve been great so far.

My father has a Slimfold that’s currently out for service, I’ll post pictures when it arrives back.

Thanks Deb, I find it’s really nice to use a fountain pen, there’s something fundamental about it.
