Default 3rd tier mystery POS...but LOOK at that material!

    Random ebay spotting.

3rd tier mystery no name pos, low quality celluloid section, cheap plated nib, probably an injection molded plastic feed. Looks like a blind cap, so a button filler. But, yeah, look at that material. I've never seen it before and man I really dig that big time. Has anyone ever seen a better or higher end piece with this or similar?

If the condition of the barrel and cap were pristine, I would replace the section, feed and nib with higher quality equivalent parts.
Then it actually looks like "a million bucks" and writes like one also

idk, that blind cap looks fairly deformed, sort of 'sucked in' from shrinkage, possibly some delamination between the colors too.

Actually, I originally saw Miss Polish Job on a postcard in a pack from Pomegranate (I liked Miss Lube Rack). Uh oh,...she's not your mother, is she?

This pen is why I liked Third Tier pens -- inexpensive imitations of great styles for the '30s. I have a Majestic lever-filler that looks a lot like this. Or "MajestiBrook", since the nib was rotten and I had a spare Esterbrook section. "Liked", past tense, because Third Tier junkers have gotten expensive, as if EBay sellers think that anything old is worth $50 or more.

Elim's pen reminds me of the Striped Duofold.

Yeah i am seeing that a lot in ebay, these folks have been watching too many episodes of american pickers. $90 for an unrestored wearever deluxe 100 is one that comes to mind having seen recently.

Wow, that's great material. To me it says Pyjamas!

I have a couple of Pinstripes in quite lurid colours. (Come to think of it, there's a delightful modern Duofold with choc and mint pinstripes... one of the few modern Parkers I do really covet.)
