Default Lunchtime ink review: Rohrer & Klingner Alt-GoldGrün

Lunchtime ink reviews! I'm taking one ink to work each day and doing one of these during my lunch.

Rohrer & Klingner Alt-GoldGrün, dip test with TWSBI Eco 1.1mm stub, on Rhodia dotpad.

This ink is not highly lubricated, so it feels a little dry but that isn't quite the right description - you can see the wet shine for some time after it goes down as opposed to inks that really are dry. I like it for drawing - the ink pools back into previously drawn lines to give more shading. It is a useful shade of yellow-green - not too dark, readable.

(I do intend to come back and re-edit this photo on the computer instead of my phone, as this looks fine on the latter but not so much on the former. However, getting round to photo editing has been a reason I never post things elsewhere, so I figured I would go with what I have for now or I'll never start).

I have a plan to gradually put these in a pen longer term for a non-dip test in which case I'll add more images.

    ETA: main images replaced.

I like the review format. Beautiful photo (and a sketch too...!).

This is why I like ink reviews, you can review any ink in your own style and therefore each review is unique.

I've replaced the photos with re-edited ones with fewer green haloes.

I enjoyed your review and the posts that followed. So far this is my only Rohrer and Klingner ink. I still bought Diamine 150th Anniversary Safari which is very close to this color.
