Ink Review: Cult Pens Deep Dark Red Ink

Bought some Noodlers Red-Black looking for a shade similar to this but got a very plain old brown instead . No red , no black , no dark burgandy like the writing sample I have seen . It's just brown , guess I should buy some of this ink . Thanks for the review , most helpful .

You're welcome. It's surprising how many dark red inks turn out quite brown. Diamine Dragon Blood is much browner than this Deep Dark Red.

I also heard that Cult Pens were doing free shipping to the US......

A great review. The ink looks superb. How do you like the performance (not the colour) comparing with Oxblood?

Thank you. Purely on the basis of performance and not colour, I find Oxblood very slightly drier than CPDDR, but there isn't much between them. It would just be a matter of personal preference.
