What the heck is "Rep Power" on FPG?

I see Rep Power scores and Feedback scores by the screen name, location, avatar, number of posts, thanks and thanked, etc., of members when they post. I understand Feedback on eBay, but haven't a clue what it or Rep Power are on this forum, or what folks need to do to earn them. Perhaps someone who's been initiated into this particular sort of esoterica would be willing to explain? (As long as I don't have to take any blood oaths or anything like that, of course.)

“Rep Power” on FPG intrigued me initially. It’s essentially a measure of a user’s reputation gout treatment and influence within the forum. I’ve noticed that higher Rep Power often correlates with active participation and positive contributions, reflecting a user’s credibility and standing in the community. Understanding it can enhance engagement and networking.
