    Default Belmont

    It was written elsewhere...

Please share a bit more about the joy of a Belmont. I read a little about Kraker and Rexall after some quick googling, and read that perhaps Moore made Belmonts.

Did Belmont have nibs embossed "Belmont"?

    Thanks.

I'm pretty certain Belmont was a sub-brand of Moore.

Alright. I kept this pen close to my chest because I like it so much. It's a pen that I had no idea ever made as a sub-brand (as Jon rightly pointed out) and yes, the nib actually says "Belmont". And it writes amazingly!

    Here's one photo:

I will feature this pen more next year.

Had just a very quick moment. Note the following photo shows three pens: a Moore in the middle, flanked by two Belmonts. The one to the left is an identical model in a different color (but same pattern), the pen on the right being same color/pattern but different model. Honestly, the only difference is the name on the clip, which I hope you can see (I uploaded the largest photo).

    Lovely Belmont(s) Jon!

Those are definitely Moore's production. I do believe that the Rexall drugstore hired more than one pen companies to produce pens for them.

Oh, I am pretty certain of that as well. Lots of sub-brand and store brand work in those days.

I went into the local Rexall and asked, and all I got was a blank stare and an invitation to leave.

At least you still have a local Rexall. All I ever found on it here locally was a dented and rusted first aid can in an estate sale.
