Simple curiosity... Safari+Nexx Fusion!

Hi everyone, this is my first post!!
I wonder if some of you guys have both Lamy Safari and Lamy Nexx have you tried to change caps?
I think the Nexx Very nice concept, i like it, but i think the barrel is way cooler than the cap...
I dont have a Safari to make the experiment, so if you can tell me if the safari cap fits in the Nexx, or post a photo i would appreciate it.

I just pulled both out of my pen box and gave it a shot. The answer is no. The Safari barrel and hence cap is slimmer than the Nexx.
The internal diameter of the Safari cap is 12mm - near enough- using a ruler.
The ID of the Nexx cap is 13mm - or thereabouts.
