    Thanks! I had a "red" of the Konrad as well, but there was a manufacturing issue that left a few blemishes, so I returned it and should be getting a replacement the next time the Goulets receive any. And the quotes aren't superfluous. It really is a so-called red.

    Nibs through the loupe. Yes, I'm holding the loupe in front of my iPhone. Someday I'll borrow my wife's nice camera and take better pictures

    I was trying for a Dixie, Had it in my cart, but before I could finish paying for it it was snatched - I was told I missed it by less than 2 seconds. Not a happy moment. So I bought this one as a consolation (prize?). Glad I did, I am very happy with the pen, the feel and the ink flow - I have found the longer the pen is used the better the feed performs. Being new to the fountain pen obsession, er hobby - this is the first Ebonite pen I have written with and I am very happy with its performance.
